Wk 9- Art Activity- Student Choice, Part 2
- My original vision was to have a seamless image of the extent in terms of distance that litter or trash could be, even in the desolate desert.
- My project slightly differed because some of the images I had taken of the litter was during the day, so it looks a bit out of place in the picture as a whole.
- Even though it’s not 100% what I was expecting out of it, I believe it still get the message across. The objects are now popping out of the picture, since they are brighter than the actual background.
- Now looking at it, I believe the difference in times of the day that I had talked the photos of the litter actually made it easier to distinct it apart from the background. However, I still regret that I wasn’t able to at least blend the “stickers” in.
- I was trying to explore what forms of photography that I could explore, since I’m still a novice in the field. This taught me a lot, which was one of my main goals for this project. I believe the picture still gets the message of how far litter reaches on our planet earth, which is surprising for such a small and isolated town.
- If I were to do the project differently, I would have invested into buying a drawing app on my IPAD, and blending out the colors on each piece of litter to match the background.
